Challenge

The company selling original Spanish food has been looking for a way to reach out to
gourmets from different counties, interested in the "authentic" taste of Spanish wines
and oils, but at the same time the company could not afford creating the network of
representative offices abroad…
Therefore it has turned to us with the request to develop a data base web site, enabling
the buyers to purchase products online with credit/debit cards. Another task was to let
the company employees maintain the web site themselves, edit and upload pictures of new
products, and to get the web site look attractive and effective enough to gain new
customers and have the old ones coming back.

Result

As a result we have created an online shop giving the visitor a vivid impression of
the true Spanish cuisine, integrated with two payment gateway providers (WorldPay and PalPay),
which has extended the circle of potential clients.
We have developed CMS for categories and products and have given the clients sufficient
motivation to visit the web site, having introduced the section advertising Spanish food
recipes and having posted a press-section with articles from newspapers and magazines
dedicated to the Spanish cuisine.
We have also developed the recipes mailing service for subscribers and the section with
testimonials appearing in the random order and persuading the clients and potential buyers
in the gravity of business dealt with.

The main parts of the home page are shop menu at the top of the page and category menu containing
products with corresponding pictures that can be edited. For those who have special interest in
Spanish food and for clients' convenience there is free catalogue and free recipes signups as well
as testimonials of other customers.
By clicking at either category in the menu or at the category picture one can get the detailed description
of products as well as can add them to the basket. "View basket" and "product search" are available at every
page giving a customer a better buying control and the possibility to search for a certain product
irrespective of the current page.
This page illustrates the shopping basket. Having chosen the desired product the buyer
can update the number of each product or delete it from the shopping basket and may
choose the payment gateway provider and the paying method which suits him/her the best,
having filled the fields with credit card and personal information.
